A few images taken on October 31st in the hills (Itri, 90 km South from Rome). This time there weren't many olives in my mother's garden. So we couldn't make olive oil.
Lemon flowers were blooming and the surrounding vineyards began to change their colours.

Away From The Blue
One of my favorite things is to make chestnuts. My mother also makes her own olives. He can no longer eat the olives sold in the markets... And place of your mother is great:) Happy new week for you too.
To Mica and SzgnBsl:
Thanks for the appreciation, my friends!
Actually, olives sold by grocery clerks aren't so good as olives made on our own. In addition, we can choose to make olive in accordance with organic farming rules. As it is known, the problem may sometimes be the olive fruit fly, which is a phytophagous species, whose larvae feed on the fruit of olive trees.
Have a nice week :-)
you live in such a heavenly place Giorgio !

That place where your mother lives is so picturesque.
Ohhhh Giorgio this is a magnificent place. How fortunate your family is to tend this land. Thank you so much for sharing it.
muy linda la casa de tu madre me dio ganas de castañas. Los viñedos y las flores de limón son muy lindas. Te mando un beso
How cozy with a good fire and lovely home. Olives are so expensive here and we can't get fresh ones like in your mother's garden. How luck you are. Ours are all bottled and imported mostly from your country!!
This is such a lovely post.
Your photographs a joy to see, and thank you for sharing the photographs of your mothers home.
I hope you've had a good week.
All the best Jan
