I took just two pictures

During the 1st week of October the weather was not on our side in Italy. Today at least it is a sunny Sunday ... after a rainy and wet week. The two pictures below shows the cloudy sky I saw on Thursday, 6th October  ...  the gateway to a modern designed harbour for pleasure boats, with its achitectures of historical works (1st pic), and an old Italian car built in the early 1970s (2nd pic): congrats to the owner, as it looks new 🚗

On the vaccine front, protests against Italy's Covid certificate grew violent yesterday, while thousands of people took to the street of the Italian Capital. As it is known, Italy's government issued a law requiring COVID-19 vaccine or negative testes for workers to enter their offices and workplaces.

Meanwhile, Supreme Courts in many countries have already ruled agaist using vaccine passport to restrics access to the workplaces.
In accordance with the principles of the Italian constitution, we see what the Italian government will be able to do.

...and here I thought that all of the anti-vaxxers were in the US. The world is in a bigger mess than I realized.

To Tom:
It is not the case, Tom, as thousands of people marched down the streets in Zurich, Bern, Paris, and other EU towns 😷

I really liked the car photo and of course the car:) There is also an opposition to vaccination in our country, but there has not been a serious protest yet. As a matter of fact, there are not many sectors in the government that require vaccination :)

I am baffled that people are so stupid and violent. It's a daily thing here in the US.

To Nicole, and SzgnBsl: protests against vaccine passports still continue worldwide.

I think that is a mini minor car, the one Mr Bean fancies. The number 23 probably has much significance to the owner. Glad you are getting some sun shine after the rains. I am all for human rights and the right to chose. But Covid-19 does kill and after almost 1 1/2 years of pandemic fatigue and so many deaths, vaccines are the one way to return to a "normal" life of working and travelling.

To Kestrel:
Actually, 4,874,689 people have died so far from the COVID-19 began to spread in the late December 2019. But in developed countries more than 80% people will be fully vaccinated by the end of the year. That's why they (Western governments) have to send vaccine doses to African countries, rather than fight Anti-Vaxxers in the US, France, Italy, etc. ... currently, only 3% of Africa’s population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19! :-(

The car is like that Italian "A112". You're right, as it is an old Mini Minor.

Thanks for sharing your point of view, Kestrel! Have a nice week!

That car looks so cute! Sorry to hear about the protests though. They are talking about requiring vaccines for some jobs here too, hopefully enough people take up the vaccine that it doesn't have to be made mandatory.

Hope you are having a good week :) It's a rainy one here!

Sorry to hear about the protests, Giorgio.

Love that cute capture of the car.

Happy Wednesday!

To Mica and Veronica:
thanks for your support on the ongoing big mess related to anti-vaxxers protest here (mainly in Italy and France) ... most stringent anti-COVID measures goes into effect on the 15th of October, as vaccine passport will be obligatory for public and private sectors. A General strike, w$hich will be held from 15th to 20th October, will probably trigger chaos in Italy with public transport. Fingers crossed!
