Wooden doors in Italy

It's time to enjoy the springtime beauty of our countries. The picture above shows the running path I like the most, which is located 80 Km North from Rome. Following the mostly flat coast, the path leads to two archeological sites. The first one dating back to the fourth century b.c. is visible in the middle of the picture, close to the sea.

The following pictures shows some eavy wooden doors I saw while I was walking through the oldest neighborhood of the town.

As I mentioned in my previous post, walking through the old part of the town gives me the opportunity to see many stones that tells us a fascinating past.

The Italian government is still imposing a nationwide corfew from 10:00 pm until 05:00 am except for work or health reasons.
Happy Internatinal workers' day (1st May), and stay safe!

The first photo in the article is an incredibly beautiful photo. I also liked the wooden door photos.

We are in our homes in Turkey until May 17th. As the number of cases increased, many bans came back again.. Happy weekend:-)

Wow this just re-iterates my love for doors!! They're so pretty, and far away from the gross doors we have in the UK. I want to be there!

What an interesting running path to follow. Although I must say it appears a long run!. I wanted to do do a series on doors in Bali too and started to take pics but I never completed this project. Doors do have character after seeing your pics, front doors are so important as it will give a sign as how the inside will be

To Tom: I'm so glad to see you were interested in my post. Actually each town has its architectural details. Actually, your pictures, which you take in cities located in the State of New York, sometimes show several architectural features.

To SzgnBsl: Thanks, my friend. I think there are beautiful old wooden doors in your country too ...you could post a series of Turkish building's doors.

To Amy Aed: Thanks for the appreciation :-) ... in 2017 I saw beautiful old doors in Edinburgh too. Pleased to meet you! I have never been in Wales, but I think in your country there are favorite spots for architectural photography.

To Penghuni 60: Thanks for visiting my blog :-) ... I have just visited your website.

To kestrel: It's great to hear my post have inspired you. I look forward to reading your post about a series of Indonesian old doors.

To Paola: You're absolutely right, Paola, as our country offers a remarkable architectural heritage.

Thanks to everyone for reading my post about "wooden doors" and writing such kind words.

All the best,

Giorgio

I don't know how I have missed so many of your post. I will have to check my alerts. However, that running path is excellent and I would certainly use it. You show such beauty even with wooden door. Thank you.
