Relaxing thermal bath

Autumn hasn't come early to many parts of Italy. What I'm trying to say is that the weather is sunny again and we can simply wear a shirt while we are running.
I post here below a photo of last race in Tuscany where I ran with the number 37.  I'm sorry Char , unfortunately after I had run last race  I didn't take a photo of the loot :)  The  Black Knight  showed his loot on his blog.  I show the loot next time ... if I'll get it :)

Yesterday we did 16 km long run with a workout  7 x 5 minutes fast with 1 minute recovery.  Of course, this Sunday I  didn't run a race and  I decided to relax with a thermal bath, which is believed to aid in relaxing the muscles.  It  is especially suitable for athletes after sport activity.
This small center with thermal baths is situated near the town and its name is Ficoncella http://www.civitavecchia.net/index.php?cmd=ficoncella
We have planned to run some interesting 12 km races in Tuscany next months. Of consequence, I'd like to lose weight. At least 2 kg!
Happy training!

Ficonella - that sounds very inviting though with temperatures we are having in CA now I would be dreaming of an ice bath.

I love loot. I'll go check out the Black Knights pics.

The thermal bath sounds nice. I used to have a spa and enjoyed it a lot during the winters.

Hi Giorgio,
That is a great picture of you running! Hopefully the temperatures in Italy will start to come down and you will be able to run with ease:) I will be looking forward to more Tuscany race reports in the future! Have a wonderful week Giorgio!

Sure wish there was a thermal bath around here - it would have felt great yesterday!

I can certainly do with a thermal bath from time to time. Unfortunately nothing like that close by. Have a good week Giorgio!

Ficoncella is always a good solution, moreover there we celebrated the first meeting of the Black Knight Army.
Now we go with the conquest of Tuscany and Maremma.

Nice pic of you.

Fall has definitely come early here, it's only 15 degrees or something and lots of rain. Bit too cold for the end of September.

We have thermal baths here in Holland but have to say that I've never been to one. Maybe an idea to try it someday.

Hi Giorgio, thanks for all the well wishes, I really appreciate it! I'm feeling good and happy that I recovered quickly. I think being fit and in shape helps a lot with recovery from being sick. Have a good week!
