10 km tempo run

Yesterday in the afternoon we ran actually 10.01 km after we had run the warm up. Them we ran 10 km around the Southern part of the town, through the tourist port and next to the see. I've improved slightly again considering the last three trainings: the time taken during yesterday's 10 km tempo run was 50:08 minutes. The average pace was 05:01 min/km.
Tomorrow in the afternoon I'm running a long distance run and of consequence about 800 calories will be burned. In this perspective, we have made a cake that you can see in the photo below posted. So, I'll have some carbohydrates at breakfast before tha training. :)

Nice job on your tempo run Giorgio:) I am glad to hear that you are improving!! What is that on the table? Is it a bread or a sweat roll of some sort? Whatever it is it looks yummy:)

I hope that you have a wonderful week Giorgio:)

That cake looks like serious energy! Should be great for your long run. Your running is going well.

I'm not running Two Oceans this year. It is 1400km from where I am and I just don't have the time to do a trip like that now. It is a great race.

Happy running!

Isn't that one of the perks of running - being able to indulge a little bit?

Very good pace, lucky you! In this period I am too busy to train as I liked, too many trips. In Brussels also I didn't make the workout because I was tired after a night at the restaurant with my french collegues. I am afraid I will not enter the Vivicittà in Civitavecchia, better in Rome where the speed is only an .... option. More touristic and relaxing. Let me know please.
