Rainbow

This week the weather will be rainy here in Italy and I'm afraid I can't run.
Normally, runners don't begin the training while it is raining :)
This afternoon I ran 55 minutes. At the beginning I ran against the wind and then I ran the last 20 minutes in the rain. After I had done the training it rained again and I saw a rainbow through the clouds.
I was at home when I took the photo above posted.

Congrats to Meg  who ran a the NYC Marathon. She said that a lot of Italian runners did that experience. Four people from my town ran the NYC Marathon yesterday and they are coming back in Italy tomorrow.

I hope that all you blogger friends will have a nice training ... and a sunny weather :)

Your wishes for sunny weather made our Sunday rain go away. Thank you. In return I wish you sunny Italian weather, at least for the time you need to run.
Have a great week, Giorgio.

I don't mind running in the rain but I don't like to go out when it's already raining. It's much better to have it rain once you're already out and sweaty.

Bella foto complimenti! Ormai ci tocca correre tra un acquazzone ed un altro. Passerà anche questo maltempo....

Beautiful rainbow! I know what you mean about the rain - if it's a light rain it's okay but not if it's pouring. Hope you get some good weather soon!

That is such a lovely rainbow Giorgio! It has been a long time since I have seen one:)

Sorry to hear about all of the rain. Hopefully the rain will stop and you will be able to get out running soon!

Take care!

Thank you so much for the wonderful running shirt! I love it:)

nice picture Giorgio ! they say there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - something to run after (though you will never get there - i know , i've tried !

Yes, it's not always sunny in Italy and France ! i ran an hour in the rain yesterday too, and cycled 2 hours on Sunday - wet and windy !

best wishes

Thanks for the rainbow pic! I love rainbows! I enjoy running in the rain as long as there is no lightning or hail. Where I live we seldom have rain without lightning. We get our rain in big thunderstorms most of the time. Stay safe Giorgio!

I love rainbows, this one is beautiful!

I hate starting to run in the rain but once I'm running and it starts it really doesn't bother me much.

Hope better weather is on the way for you.
