I think we would have to dedicate races to the girls who live in some countries such as Iran and Pakistan. They're girls who can't know their own strenght.
I took the photo which you can see above in 1990 while I was travelling through a small town called Jayce, which is situated in the middle of Bosnia (former Yugoslavia).
Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is an European country, are a little under two million in number and constitute 40 percent of the country's population (2002 estimate). The modern Bosniaks, often referred to as Bosnian Muslims, descend from Slavic speakers who converted to Islam in the 15th and 16th centuries.
I'm not running a race this weekend and I'll do tomorrow 8 km tempo run around the Oliveto park. You can see above an image of this park where there are a lot of olive trees. The 19th of Semptember the Grosseto's 12 kilometers race will be held. I've planned to run it.Have a nice weekend!

I can't imagine not being able to run just because I was born with 2 X chromosomes. But then I couldn't imagine not being able to be educated or having to be subservient to all males. I'm truly grateful to have been born in a place where opportunities are equal for male and female.
It's amazing to me that in today's world, women are oppressed. Not being able to participate in athletics is just a small part of what women can't do. I wonder if in 10 year, 20, 50 years? We'll still be wondering the same thing? Why can't women participate in athletics?
It is easier to enslave people who do not know their strengths. Add to that that this is the supreme being wants the society to look like and you have a perfect recipe for discrimination.
I do recall a Muslim woman in the Olympic games though so there is hope.
Oliveto Park looks like a perfect place to run. I love olive trees, especially those old ones.
L'Oliveto, the park where the "newcomers" begin a running program and the professional runners (like you) begin the workouts. Are you ready for the war of Grosseto?

I always tell my kids how lucky they are to have been born in a western country. We were just watching a documentary on how bad the situation is in Liberia right now and I feel terrible for all those children who grow up in places where their opportunities are taken away from them. Our kids are so fortunate to be able to do whatever they want. I want them to be aware of that!
Lets hope things can speed up to give recognition to the Muslim women. That park looks beautiful. I love olive trees!

We should organise a run to raise awareness for our Muslim sisters who can not enjoy the freedom of a run.Perhaps a task for us Black knight army members.
