The running path through the countryside where my daughters picked the blackberries |
The jar of blackberry jam which my daughters made yesterday |
I've come back in my town and next week I'll come back at work. We were on vacation in South Italy on relaxing beaches, green hills with olive trees and old villages. So we visited a small town where most houses were built with white stones. That small town is called Ausonia and it is very old. It's a characteristic place and I would never thought there were so narrow streets. In the photo below you can see one of these houses above mentioned.

Nice running to all my blogger friends!

Sounds like you had a lovely holiday!
It's so great when you can pick your own fresh fruit and make homemade jam - we have blackberries in our garden and they are just about ripe now, too.
That blackberry jam looks awesome! Sounds like a good time was had by all.
I got to pick berries for the first time this year - it was so much fun and they tasted better than the ones you buy in a supermarket. The jam must taste divine. And imagine if you'd been able to make fig jam too - yum!
I'm not jealous of your vacation. No I'm not!
Okay: I am! So beautiful, can't wait to go to Italy again next year.
Funny I was just thinking about where I would take Bella for her walk this afternoon and decided to take a route where I can find blackberries. I love to pick them and eat them immediately, so does Bella :)
Thank you for the mention. I am waiting for you for the long distance runs. Gianni, Vincenzo and Massimo are ready too.
Beautiful places to visit and to run through. We have only Giro d'Emilio and Molacce......
Welcome back.
I love blackberry jam! I've never had home made blackberry jam so you are lucky. Lovely photos, thanks for showing us your beautiful country.
I love blackberries but have to stay away from jams because I just might end up eating the entire jar at one sitting. Our blackberry bush migrated under the fence from our neighbors back yard. I guess I should thank them.
Beautiful photos Giorgio - our countryside is full of blackberries at this time too (must make a jar of jam!)
