45 min. tempo run in the rain

I've just done a good tempo run in the rain and while I'm trying to improve my training, Italian Prime Minister is being investigated over his dealings with a 17 year old nightclub dancer. Mr Berlusconi is suspected of abusing his power by trying to have the Moroccan girl. Italy would need General Election next March. In the meanwhile I bought a new pair of running shoes (Asics, Gel - Cumulus 12) and gave my small contribution to economic development :)

Yesterday I received a package from Phoenix. My blogging friend Christina  sent me a nice postcard with an amazing long sleeve T-shirt. Thank you so much! It's the T-shirt of the 21th Annual Midnight Madness 3 mile run/walk. I love it!  I always enjoy reading about Christina 's running adventures and, as you know, I love reading running blogs from other countries. What a beautiful blogger community!

Nice running to everyone!

Don't you just love running in the rain? I do but we don't seem to be getting any here. I guess we have drought again in CA.
Mr Berlusconi seems to be a good source of entertainment. I only wish this was not about a very young lady.

Ah rain...better than -30°C :)

Mr Berlusconi is not helping his reputation with such behavior...politicians!

I remember Berlusconi running ... perhaps now he prefers a different "sport" (????).
My same shoes, good shoes!
I received the shirt too. Christina is very kind.

Hi Giorgio,
I don't mind running in the rain if the temperature is just right:) Running in the rain is actually relaxing for me...everything is calm and peaceful and I feel the mojo flow. Nice job on the run:)

Take care Giorgio!

I have the Gel Nimbus (three pairs) and love them...
We have been hearing a lot about your prime minister on our news (when they get tired of talking about how long it is taking our politicians to form a government) - how much longer do you think he can hang onto his job?

I ran in the rain yesterday and today, but it was warm and humid. Enjoy your training!

If you like rain Giorgio you should come to Ireland - it never stops raining here!

I love the running community too!

You may not be proud of your Prime Minister but you have to be proud of your tennis players. That Francesca Schiavone is amazing. She could be a marathon runner with her endurance.

Great run Giorgio and how nice that she sent you that package. Always a surprise to receive something like that in the mail.

I sometimes have to laugh about what happens in Italy, that Berlusconi sure is a bad guy and he almost gets away with everything.

In every country there's something, we've got Wilders, nothing to be proud of either.

Hey, what did the black knight say about cats? Gatti was the only word I recognized in all that Italian.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the shirt and hope you can wear it around the house or yard.

Mr. Prime Minister needs to go running to burn off energy instead of trying to chase and keep up with the young girls!

Lucky you receiving the running shirt from your blogging friend! Such a fun way to share with runners around the world!
