EURO 2020 final match, beaches, and tomatoes

We have lived with COVID-19 for more than one year. Will this pandemic ever end?  I am sorry to hear pressure grows on olympic games organizers over spectators, as there is a new wave of COVID cases in Japanese capital.
At the moment it seems European people would like to enjoy the urban environment, coffees, parks, and beaches. The picture below shows the pedestrian area located in the older part of Civitavecchia (70 km North from Rome).

Unfortunately, people who are on holiday (here in Central Italy) can't have lunch on the beach, because of the cloudy weather.

Meanwhile, tomatoes on my balcony will be ready in one week. I hope seagulls will not eat them :-) ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ…... last week they (seagulls) ate all tomatoes on my balcony ๐Ÿคจ

And last but not least, on Sunday, July 11, the Euro 2020 final match will take place at Wembley Stadium in London ๐Ÿ† Italy and England will face off for the continental crown

Beautiful with the golden evening or night lights, looks all golden and charming place to visit. The beach sofa chairs look so inviting, sorry the weather was cloudy that people could not enjoy the beach. YOu do have a good bunch of tomatoes. My friends say fresh tomatoes off the plant taste sweeter than those from supermarkets. That is why the sea gulls are eating them before you.

...it will end if EVERYONE does the right things! A cloudy day can still be a beautiful day. Each day I pick a few tomatoes. I hope that you team wins!!!

To Kestrel: your friend is right about tomatoes, as many veggies are shipped from other countries ... that's why a week or more of freshness is lost.

To Tom: Thanks for your support!

First off your tomatoes look amazing!!! Sorry the seagulls got to some of them. As for Covid it is still a mess here. The Delta variant is filling hospitals and the people who refused to wear a mask, social distance and certainly not get vaccinated are spreading the virus like last year. The tourist who have never stopped coming here, even in lockdown, continue to invade the coast with little regard to anyone. I still wear a mask and gloves and stay home as much as I can. It's a strange world we live in.

To Nicole: true! ... We've to wear a mask and observe social distancing rules because COVID-19 is still here. We do hope 75% of EU people will be vaccinated at the end of the year.

Hope you get to enjoy your tomatoes! It will be good when more people are vaccinated and things are safer with the pandemic and people can move around and enjoy life more. We aren't vaccinated here but life is back to normal as we have no cases, which is good! We just can't travel out of Australia yet, so once we are vaccinated I hope that changes!

Hope you are having a good weekend :) It's another chilly winter day here, but we still spent a little time at the playground this morning :)
